Building communities needs creative and skilled facilitators that can guide processes and involve diverse partners. To empower communities and create space for taking ownership of societal issues, a facilitation training was organised on social innovation and community building for local facilitators, teachers and innovation platforms. The objective was to learn skills on facilitating design thinking processes on urgent thematic issues; lear tools on manifesting change, social innovation and community building; and understanding the essence of public leadership and civic engagement.
